LEJANA Y SOLA MEZCAL

Lejana Y Sola is an ensemble mezcal, a blend of two agaves: Espadin and the rare, wild Cuishe agave. Offers a perfect balance of the subtle yet signature mezcal smoke against a backdrop of intriguing fruit and wild, earthy, almost musky notes. Lejana Y Sola is distilled in a small family owned palenque in Oaxaca and crafted using the ancient artisanal method where the Espadin and Cuishe agaves are roasted over oak in a stone-lined fire pit, crushed by a horse drawn tahona, fermented in wooden tanks and double distilled in a copper alambique.
